Samaan aikaan entisen kokoomuslaisen sisäministeri Kai Mykkäsen äiti on venäläinen.

Iraq's Minister of Defense was prosecuted in Sweden - registered and sick-listed in Stockholm

Iraq's new Defense Minister Najah al-Shammari is registered in a suburb of Stockholm and is a Swedish citizen. In addition, he should not have shown any income in Sweden, was charged with crime and claimed to be too ill to work.
...
According to the newspaper, he came to Sweden in 2009. His family came three years later and in 2015 he became a Swedish citizen. One year ago he appeared in government documents where it appears that he does not understand simpler Swedish despite several years at SFI.

He and his family should also have been allocated an apartment in one of Stockholm's suburbs and after having had modest incomes in 2013 and 2014, these should have completely ceased after he was laid off, among other reasons due to memory problems.

Suspected of multiple crimes

Several times during 2013, they must have applied for support, but have not been granted it. However, he traveled with parts of the family to Iraq at least twice and, during a trip in 2014, paid for a laser treatment of the eyes of one of his children, to avoid wearing glasses.

In 2015 he was suspected of insurance fraud, but the preliminary investigation is closed. The following year, he is charged with a more serious offense, but the case is written off the day before the trial for some reason and he is released from custody.

The preliminary investigation shows that his family could not respond to what al-Shammari did in the days, even though he was on sick leave. Instead, it emerged that he left early and arrived late in the days.
...
According to News Today's review, he uses a different name in Sweden than he has as defense minister. He is part of an Iraqi "big tribe" which includes the clan name he has in the Swedish passport.

What he says in the hearing of the indictment is consistent with the CV that Iraq's defense minister has, namely that he has been a military throughout his life, has been a general in the army and specializes in combating extremism and terrorism. He also states that he has several degrees - in military and political science.

When News Today calls one of al-Shammari's relatives in Sweden and asks if his relative is the Iraqi Minister of Defense, the reaction becomes frosty and after a few seconds the handset is put on hold.
...
As defense minister, Sunni al-Shammari wants to strengthen relations between Iraq and Shia Muslim Iran. In Iraqi circles in Sweden, he is criticized for his role in the ongoing violence in Iraq with 300 dead.
